What do you think about the proposed constitutional amendment by Rep. Rickey Hardy banning those over 70 from qualifying to run for public office? Do you think this law is necessary? Should there be an age requirement for those running for office?

(Exerpt)"A person who is seventy years old or older shall not be permitted to qualify as a candidate for elective public office or take public elective office. A person who attains seventy years of age while serving a term of office shall be allowed to complete that term of office."
