Jennings Police and the Louisiana Attorney General's Office are investigating a corporal punishment complaint at Jennings Elementary School.

A third grade girl was paddled twice, with parent permission, after being disruptive at Jennings Elementary School.

When the 8-year-old came home with several bruises, her mother called an attorney.

The incident remains under investigation.
