Want a good spook this Halloween season? The Museum of Fear is just the place to find it!
The third floor of The Lafayette Science Museum is transformed into a horrifying display with live actors. Warning some of the images may be too graphic for all members of your family.
Museum Director Kevin Krantz says this year the attraction is scarier than ever
"Although parents are more than welcome to bring their kids because a family that shares together scares together, but let it be known kids may be sleeping with mom and dad for a while after this experience," said Krantz.
Groups of four will walk the through the haunted tour with theatrical fog hugging the ground. The experience is heighten with eerie music in every room and it just wouldn't be haunted without a few special surprises.
"We have a sewer system that the visitors have to walk through and there are some really evil things lurking down there for them. Also this year we have a full rotating vortex tunnel which is bound to get our visitors off kilter," said Krantz.
For those who dare to enter, this isn't for weak-hearted and parental discretion is definitely advised. Horror waits around corner so if you don't find many things scary they'll find you. Since last season, organizers have re-thought every detail from props, costume designs and even hidden trap doors.
"I had four plans prepared in January for this years attraction and in order of how long it takes well we started in January and we're finishing up today," said Krantz.
You can get your tickets today they're just $10. Doors open from 7p.m. -11p.m.
