Texas man accused of stealing TVs from Wal-Mart

A Texas man was arrested for alleged stealing three televisions from Wal Mart in Eunice.

Eunice Police Department was alerted by the Wal-Mart in Eunice in reference to a shoplifter that just left the premises with a 32-inch flat screen TV valued at $355.00. The incident was captured on video which was turned over to authorities.

According to authorities, Wal-Mart called the Eunice PD to report two more TV's stolen. This time, the suspect allegedly took two 32-inch Samsung flat screen TV's from the shelf as earlier and placed them into a shopping cart. The shoplifter then pushed the shopping cart towards the grocery area when an employee attempted to detain him since he couldn't produce a receipt for the TV's. The suspect, identified as Terrance Walker, then exited the building with the shopping cart while employees asked him to stop, according to police.

Police say Walker then loaded both TV's into a waiting green Ford Explorer and fled the scene. This time employees obtained his license plate number. The vehicle was registered to a Mamou resident and Mamou PD was called to assist in the investigation. Mamou PD then located the suspect vehicle at a residence and detained the suspect who was turned over to Eunice PD for questioning. Two of the TV's were also recovered. Walker was then booked for 2 counts of theft.
