After some very pleasant fall weather it appears conditions closer to summer will return to the area with afternoon temperatures likely reaching the mid-upper 80s into the weekend.
Temperatures in the upper 40s Tuesday morning across Acadiana will become a distant memory with lows moderating back into the 60s as a return flow initiates from the Gulf of Mexico. The return flow may also bring some late night/early morning patchy fog and/or low clouds.
Look for partly cloudy skies Wednesday and fair to partly cloudy skies Thursday into the weekend. Daytime highs in the mid-80s this week will get closer to the upper 80s this weekend. A few readings near 90F across inland portions of Acadiana this weekend can't be ruled out.
The pattern remains rather dry with rain chances staying near 10% or less through Sunday.
It looks to stay warm with a weak frontal trough approaching early next week possibly sparking-off a few showers by Tuesday/Wednesday.
