Acadiana opened their hearts and wallets this weekend.
The Cerebral Palsy of Louisiana Telethon was held at the Heymann Center and aired on cable TV. The event is a 35-year tradition and more than thirty-two thousand dollars was donated. That money stays right here in Louisiana for clients to purchase medical equipment, like wheel chairs and prescription shoes.
Also, money donated will help with speech and physical therapy.
