Teens Charged with Stealing More Than $10,000 in Goods from School

Two teens are behind bars after they allegedly stole over $10,000 worth of electronics from Carencro Middle School. Police say they recovered laptop computers, digital cameras, and i-Pads during their investigation. Investigators say the juveniles, ages 15 and 16, may have resold some of the items. Carencro police ask local residents to contact them if they believe they may have purchased laptops, digital cameras, touch pads, or i-Pads from juveniles in Lafayette Parish. Police say those who come forward will not be charged with possession of stolen items. Police are continuing their investigation, and more arrests are expected.
