Teens Arrested on Burglary, Theft Charges

Two New Iberia teens are in jail on burglary and theft charges. Iberia Parish sheriff's deputies arrested 18-year-old Kevin Francis and an unnamed 16-year-old male early Tuesday morning. Officials say the deputies found the pair, who matched witnesses' descriptions of the suspect, while patrolling the Allen Street area. Officials say they found a handgun, ammunition, and electronics while searching the two. Francis also faces an additional charge of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.
