Teen killed in Shreveport shooting

SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - Shreveport police are investigating a shooting that claimed the life of a teen.
Police say the shooting It happened about 11:30 p.m. Thursday.
Few details are available, but police say the 17-year-old victim was standing in the front yard of a home when he was shot in the torso area.
He was taken to the hospital by private auto and later died.
The name of the victim has not been released.
