Teen killed after bicycle collides with SUV

COVINGTON, La. (AP) - A Covington teenager has died from injuries he received after his bicycle collided with an SUV on Monday.
St. Tammany Parish sheriff's deputies have not released the 16-year-old's name.
Deputies tell The Times-Picayune the teen was riding his bicycle when he ran the stop sign and collided with the SUV.
Sgt. Sean Beavers says investigators determined that the SUV's driver was not at fault and was not cited.
Beavers said the teen died early Tuesday morning following several hours of surgery.
