Teen Arrested in Connection with Burglaries

Opelousas police have arrested a teen on three counts of simple burglary. Investigators say 18-year-old Justin Mayo was confronted by two businessmen who accused him of stealing items from their establishment. Police say Mayo admitted to burglarizing the business and the victims' vehicle. Police add Mayo admitted to a separate home burglary. He is being held in the Opelousas City Jail on $15,000 bond.
