A Basile teen is trouble with the law for bringing several guns onto a school's property. Coleman Mouille is charged with four counts for carrying a firearm on school grounds by a non-student. The Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office says the 18-year-old Mouille had a 12-gauge shotgun, a 410 shotgun, a dart gun, and an air pistol in his truck, which was parked in the school's parking lot. Officials add the guns were never inside the school building. Mouille was released on $10,000 bond. He also has previous arrests this year for hit-and-run, contributing to delinquency of a juvenile, trespassing, and battery.
Officials at Basile High School and with the Evangeline Parish School Board were unavailable for comment.
