Teen Arrested, Another Wanted in Home Invasion

A Lafayette teen is behind bars, and Scott teen is wanted in connection with an overnight home invasion. Lafayette police say Trey Johnson and Rondell Barfield were among a group that broke into a home in the 100 block of Wallce Drive. Investigators say the group held the residents at gunpoint, demanded money, and stole a cell phone. Johnson was arrested not far from the scene and charged with aggravated burglary. Barfield, who was allegedly armed with a pistol, is wanted on home invasion charges. If you know his whereabouts, call Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS. The case remains under investigation.
