RUSTON, La. (AP) - With six weeks to go before its season opener at Southern Miss on Sept. 3, Louisiana Tech Athletics officials say that Bulldog football season tickets are selling at a record pace.
Tech Associate Athletics Director Eric Buskirk says more than 400 new season tickets have already been sold and that the department is ahead of last year's record pace by almost 10 percent.
Tech opens its five-game home schedule on Sept. 10 when it hosts Central Arkansas while Heisman Trophy candidate Case Keenum and the Houston Cougars venture to Joe Aillet Stadium the following weekend. The Bulldogs will also host three home Western Athletic Conference games against Hawaii, San Jose State and New Mexico State.
