The Southwest Louisiana Swim League held its inaugural all-league banquet last night at River Oaks in Lafayette. The top 32 boys and girls swimmers in the league, which features more than 700 swimmers, were honored at the ceremony. State Representative Joel Robideaux was the master of ceremonies.
Three state champions were among the group of 64. They are Victoria Barczyk, Erin Trahan, and Zachary Stumph. Barczyk and Trahan were named the Swimmers of the Meet in their respective divisions. Stumph was named an All-American in the 100-meter breaststroke.
