Suspected Drug Dealer Busted

Vermilion Parish sheriff's deputies have arrested a suspect drug dealer and have taken $4500 worth of drugs off the street. Investigators say they busted 32-year-old Patrick Davenport after receiving tips of drugs sales at his home. Deputies say they seized three cookies of crack cocaine, marijuana packaged for sale, and pills from the Berthier Street residence. Deputies say they also found equipment used to make crack. Davenport faces multiple drug charges. His bond is set at $127,500.
