Suspect identified in storage unit burglary

An unknown suspect that is accused of burglarizing multiple storage units in St. Martin Parish was identified today.
With the help of anonymous citizens and area police agencies, deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office were able to identify the suspect in the surveillance footage, as Rodney Allen Sorrow, 36, Loreauville, La.
Sorrow is currently incarcerated in the Hartford County Correctional Center in Georgia for an unrelated case. He is a native of the State of Georgia and has ties to South Louisiana. He is a suspect in the burglary of several area storage facilities. A warrant for arrest has been obtained for Sorrow for seven counts of Simple Burglary and a hold for extradition will be issued.
