Suspect arrested in death of pizza delivery man

LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) A 34-year-old Lafayette man has been arrested in the March 29 stabbing death of 50-year-old Timothy Falgout.

The Advertiser reports Aaron Orlando Richards was arrested Thursday and booked with first-degree murder.

Falgout, who was delivering a pizza in Youngsville, was found dead next to his vehicle in front of a customer's home.

Authorities said Falgout's wallet was missing.

Lt. Craig Stansbury, a spokesman for the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office, said DNA evidence found at Falgout's crime scene help investigators link Richards to the death.

It was not immediately known whether Richards has an attorney.
