Suspect Arrested as Abbeville Man Fights for His Life at the Hospital

One man is in jail and another man is fighting for his life after police found him injured and unconcious outside of a bar last weekend.
Last night, Abbeville Police arrested Daniel Hernandez for 2nd Degree Battery following the incident.
Abbeville Police say officers found Jason Duhon outside of Dee's lounge around midnight early Saturday morning with severe injuries to his head.
Since then Duhon has undergone brain surgery but remains unresponsive in the hospital.
Police say he was injured in a fight but the details of what happened were a mystery to police until yesterday. Thanks to tips from the public, police were able to find out how he was injured and arrest Hernandez for the crime.
