Survey shows NOPD employees like jobs

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - New Orleans Police Superintendent Ronal Serpas says most of the city's police like their jobs, but want more training and better equipment.
Serpas administered the survey to discover what areas the police personnel found to be satisfactory and what areas need improvement. He says he wants to know how his people feel so they can make adjustments to build a better department.
Serpas said on Tuesday that he intends to survey his troops regularly and manage each category for improvement.
