NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Attorney Clinton Smith has been appointed a temporary Orleans Parish Traffic Court judge.
The Supreme Court announced Smith's appointment to Division A of Traffic Court.
Smith fills the vacancy created by the Jan. 21 death of Judge Dennis Dannel. He will serve from July 1 through Sept. 30, or until further order by the high court.
Smith has a limited private law practice and is also a Certified Public Account and owns a management consulting firm, where he has been responsible for conducting oversight for the Federal Transit Administration.
