Superintendent Up for Evaluation

LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) - The Lafayette Parish School Board will
evaluate Superintendent Burnell Lemoine's performance at its
regular meeting Wednesday.
Lemoine's contract is set to expire Dec. 31, the same day the current board's term expires.
The school board also will take its first look at systemwide salaries for the 2010-11 school year.
The starting salary for teachers will be $40,427, which has remained unchanged for two years.
