The St. Landry Parish School System will go at least another month without a permanent superintendent. School board members attempted to add the selection process to the December agenda, but the board did not reach the unanimous vote require to add items to an agenda. The school board could try to add the item to the January agenda, but that would be up to the discretion of School Board President Kyle Boss. KATC attempted to reach Boss at his home and workplace, but he was not available for comment. The St. Landry Parish School System has not had a permanent superintendent since Michael Nassif resigned from the post in October 2011.
