We've had a pretty nice couple of days here in Acadiana with temperatures warming and a good mixture of sunshine and clouds. This type forecast has another 24 hours, with Tuesday not looking like a bad day at all.
By midweek, however, the forecast starts to change. Low pressure will force a cold front across southern Louisiana bringing a round of showers and thunderstorms to Acadiana. Winds will slowly increase out ahead of this system, so get ready for a breezy day on Tuesday.
Clouds will slowly be increasing as well, with the showers arriving late Wednesday evening and lasting into Thursday. Don't rule out the possibility of a couple rumbles of thunder along with this system, and even the chance of some of them being rather strong.
Over the course of Wednesday and Thursday we could be getting a couple inches of rainfall.
