Clear skies and comfortably cool temperatures across Acadiana this morning. Most areas have dropped into the upper 40s and lower 50s. Close to record levels for this time of the year. Average temperatures should be in the lower 60s at night and highs should get into the 80s.
Today, with the cool start, we'll only get to the upper 70s for highs, even with full sunshine expected. Another cool one tonight as lows will drop into the low to mid 50s. More sunshine is expected Friday with some cloudiness Friday night. Mostly sunny skies should remain for the weekend as temperatures gradually warm to near normal.
Early next week humidity will return to normal too, so a bit more muggy with temperatures in the 80s for early next week. Rain chances will remain near zero for the next eight days.
