Sunny and Mild

While parts of the nation prepare for another significant storm, the Gulf Coast is expecting quiet weather with sunshine and mild temperatures. The northerly, offshore flow will keep temperatures at or slightly below normal today and tomorrow, with a slight warm up for the weekend.
Late in the weekend, another front will approach the area bringing a chance for showers and thunderstorms. We're still watching for the chance for any strong or severe thunderstorms. November is typically more active for severe weather than October, as the warm and cold air masses battle it out before colder air wins out for the winter.
