Sulphur men plead guilty to making and distributing conterfeit money

Two Sulphur men have pleaded guilty to conspiring to manufacture and distribute counterfeit money in the Sulphur, Lake Charles, and Westlake areas.

Shaun Daigle, 34, and Patrick Murray, 46, were arrested following a Secret Service and police investigation. They now face individual sentences of up to five years in prison, $250,000 in fines, and three years of supervised release.

A sentencing date has yet to be set.
