Sulphur man dies in Accident on I-10

JENNINGS, La. (AP) - State police say a 61-year-old Sulphur man died in a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 10 in Jefferson Davis Parish.
Troopers say Elwood Prater Jr. was westbound shortly before 11 a.m. Tuesday when he lost control of his vehicle. Officials say the vehicle left the road, flipped several times and came to rest on its side between the westbound lanes of I-10 and the North Service Road.
Prater was pronounced dead at the scene.
