The American Press reports Freddy Lynn Bohler was arrested Monday for his role in the two-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 165 near Kinder.
Three Leesville residents -- Gregory Sprinkle; his wife, Betty; and 3-year-old Daylan Sprinkle -- died as a result of the crash.
Another passenger in their vehicle received moderate injuries.
Troopers say Bohler's vehicle struck the truck occupied by the
Sprinkles from behind. The Sprinkles' vehicle was forced off the
roadway, rolled over and struck a tree.
