Sugar Mill Pond 4th of July Celebration NOT Cancelled

The Fourth of July celebration in Youngsville's Sugar Mill Pond is a go tonight. The bad weather didn't affect the city as much as Lafayette and other areas. Event info: Sugar Mill Pond Independence Celebration is Tuesday Evening, July 3. The event starts at 5:30 P.M. Fireworks at 9 P.M. Sugar Mill Pond Town Center This is a free celebration for families. There will be free hot air balloon rides, free admission, free pony rides and free face painting. The Backpacker will be giving live kayaking demonstrations along with live music and drinks and food available.
