Student Arrested After Gun Found at School

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Authorities have arrested a 13-year-old student at Parkview Baptist School for allegedly bringing an unloaded gun to the school.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office said the
seventh-grader was booked Monday on charges that included illegal possession of a firearm, felony theft and aggravated burglary.
The sheriff's deputies said the gun was stolen in a burglary.
School officials found the gun in the student's backpack. No ammunition was found.
