BRUSLY, La. (AP) - Brusly native and Saints cornerback Randall
"Blue" Gay was on hand Thursday when West Baton Rouge Parish
honored him by changing the name of Red Eye Lane to Randall
"Blue" Gay Street.
Parish President Riley Berthelot has said the renaming the
street where school buses used to drop Gay off after school as a
child is a way to honor the player after the Saints' Super Bowl
XLIV victory in Miami.

Assistant Principal Sheila Goins said Gay came up with the idea
to raffle Saints tickets and merchandise to raise money for the new
playground.
