We are continuing to watch a developing system that could bring in some strong storms into the Acadiana area.
Storms moving into Louisiana during Sunday afternoon will need to be watched closely, although models seem to be indicating the main threat will be in the ArkLaTex region.
Severe wind and hail will be the dominant threats with the storms on Sunday but a small isolated tornado can not be ruled out.
The risk for severe weather will continue on Monday morning through the afternoon, and those round of storms will have a bigger impact on Acadiana.
Areas that have the greatest chance to see the worst weather will be from roughly Iberia Parish and areas to the east.
Regardless of the severity of the storms Acadiana will be in for a round of wet weather to start the work week followed by a burst of chilly air with temperatures following behind the front.
The rain and storms on Sunday won't get going until late in the day and we likely won't see much until late evening.
