Rain and thunderstorms will develop Sunday becoming quite likely by the midday hours. A few of those storms may become severe, especially over northern and central Louisiana. The primary threat to these storms will be strong winds.
Some of the storms could dump some locally heavy rain, but most of Acadiana will see between 1/2 inch and 1 and 1/2 inches of rain before the activity ends early Monday. Slightly cooler weather expected Tuesday.
