Store Employee Charged with Stealing from Nightly Deposits

A Lake Charles woman is charged with theft after she allegedly stole money from her employer. Calcasieu Parish sheriff's deputies say 45-year-old Phillis Arabie took over $6,500 in cash from nightly deposits. Deputies say Arabie admitted to stealing the cash. Her bond has been set at $2,500.
