Stir the Pot: Seafood Cook-off

Vermilion Parish Tourist Commission and Abbeville Chamber of Commerce is putting on a Stir the Pot: Seafood Cook-off and Fundraiser for Palmetto Island State Park. This will take place on October 30th at Palmetto Island State Park. The cook-off begins at 7 am, gates open and music begins at 10 am.

Teams will compete in the seafood cook-off while attendees can enjoy music by Steven Matthew Perry, Cajunation, Jaryd Lane and Wayne Toups. There will be plenty of beverages, live auction, Halloween candy for the kids and a fun-filled family day at the park. This event is to raise funds to keep the new state park open all next year.
