After another seasonably cool night Acadiana can expect comfortable humidity and a slow warming trend under mostly sunny skies into the weekend.
Temperatures Friday morning will be in the mid-50s with sunny skies and southwesterly winds warming us into the lower 80s Friday afternoon.
Plenty of sunshine, with just a few scattered clouds are expected this weekend with highs trending into the mid-80s through Sunday.
Southerly breezes this weekend during the day will allow for a slow increase in humidity and moderating trend in our overnight lows.
The pattern looks quite sedate through much of next week with fair to partly cloudy skies along with daytime highs creeping into the mid-upper 80s.
Humidity and overnight lows will gradually increase next week with morning lows closer to the balmy 70 degree mark by the latter part of the week.
No rain is in the long-range forecast until around the 26th and/or 27th of the month when a series of upper disturbances could produce substantial rain chances.
