Steel Stolen in Iberia Parish

Tuesday, November 8, 2010 at approximately 09:58 a.m. deputies with the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office responded to the intersection of Hwy 90 and Highway 85 in reference to a theft.
Upon the deputy's arrival, it was learned that approximately 2,723 pounds of steel was stolen from the job site. The total approximate value of the steel was just over $900. Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office Detectives are following up with the theft.
