No snow in Acadiana, but chilly weather will continue for the early part of the week. Temperatures today will struggle into the upper 50s even with full sunshine. The air mass is very dry, so later tonight when the winds calm down and skies remain clear, temperatures will plummet into the mid 30s for most of Acadiana. Areas north of US 190 could briefly touch 32 degrees so freeze watches have been issued for St. Landry, Evangeline, Allen, Beauregard, Vernon, Rapides, and Avoyelles parishes.
It will stay cool again Tuesday with highs in the upper 50s, Wednesday warming into the mid 60s, then normal temps for the end of the week with highs in the mid 70s. Over the Easter weekend there could be some showers, temperatures will climb into the upper 70s.
