State Police work standoff in Welsh

Troopers with State Police Troop D in Lake Charles are surrounding a home in Welsh where a man has barricaded himself. The man wouldn't pull over when State Police tried to pull him over for a traffic violation. He then led troopers on a pursuit and is now inside a home near Prudhomme St. And Martin Luther King St., said Sgt. James Anderson. Troopers believe the home belongs to a family member.
