State Police: Nobody Injured in Train Crash

Two drivers escaped without injuries this morning after a train plowed into their vehicles. The accident took place in Iberia Parish around 6:30 this morning near the intersecion of LA 88 and LA 182. State troopers say the truck and the car were traveling in opposite directions on LA 182 and collided. The force of the crash sent both vehicles onto the tracks and into the path of the locomotive. Troopers say the drivers, who were not hurt in the initial crash, evaucated their vehicles before the train made impact.
