State Police: I-10 West near Henderson to Remain Closed Throughout Day

A fatal traffic crash will keep I-10 West near Henderson closed throughout the day. According to state police, HazMat crews are still cleaning drilling mud off the highway near mile marker 116, keeping the highway closed until further notice.
The spill and closure are the result of a head-on collision between two 18-wheelers Thursday night. One truck caught fire, killing its driver. The other rig overturned, and the condition of its driver is still unknown.
