The Crowley Chamber of Commerce is hosting the State of the Community Address on Friday, January 25. Bringing together Acadia Parish School Board Superintendent, John Bourque; Acadia Parish Police Jury President, A.J. Broussard; and Mayor of Crowley, Greg Jones, the event aims to inform local citizens of the progress of the area and look forward to what is in store for our community.
Chamber of Commerce Board Chairman & Legislative Committee Chairman, Michael Hensgens says, "The health of a community is directly linked to the health of the local School System, the City Government, and the Parish Government. If we expect Crowley and Acadia Parish to grow and prosper, we need to ensure the local citizens are knowledgeable and aware of the performance of these critical public offices". Hensgens asks the citizens of Acadia Parish to become informed by attending this Friday's luncheon.
The Chamber encourages the general public to join us in this effort to unite our area leaders. The luncheon will begin at 11:30am at the LSU AgCenter. Tickets are available for purchase at the Chamber office. Tickets are $25 per person, with a special rate of $20 for Chamber members, and will include lunch.
