A female suspect is in custody after deputies say she wouldn't stop when they tried to pull her over. Deputies say they were responding to a call of a burglary in progress, when they noticed a truck driving recklessly. The deputy assumed this vehicle was being driven by one of the two burglars and turned on his lights to stop her. The woman allegedly took off, leading five agencies on a chase through Acadia and Lafayette parishes. Deputies were finally able to arrest her at the corner of Ridge Road and Dwayne Drive, and then found out she wasn't responsible for the burglary at all. They say she ran because she had outstanding warrants. She'll be booked on the outstanding warrants and pursuit charges; the burglary suspects are still wanted.
