Stafford Clinic Receives Shipment Of H1N1 Vaccine

The largest shipment of H1N1 vaccine in the Acadiana area was received by the Stafford HealthCare Clinic. The supply is designated for high risk groups by the CDC and Louisiana Office of Public Health.

The vaccine will be provided during a specially held clinic on Saturday, November 14 from 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM on a walk-in basis and containing daily beginning Monday, November 16. The cost of the vaccination will be $15.00.

Stafford Healthcare Clinics can only provide vaccinations to the high risk groups that follow:

  • Household contacts and caregivers for children younger than 6 months of age
  • Healthcare and emergency medical services personnel.
  • All people 2 years through 24 years of age.
  • Persons aged 25-64 years who have health conditions associated with higher risk of medical complications from influenza.
