According to Sheriff David Naquin during the last 24 hours the Sheriff's Office responded to 28 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Milton Williams 61 of Hwy 182 Patterson La.was arrested on 11-23-09 at 3:00 P.M. charged with DWI 1st offense. Williams was arrested after Deputies responded to a single vehicle crash on La 182 in the Patterson area. Williams was incarcerated and no bond has been set.
Anthony L. Wells 53 of Antigo Alley Franklin La. was arrested on 11-23-09 at 3:00P.M. on warrants charging him with Theft of Goods and Criminal Damage to Property. The arrest stems from a theft investigation reported by Wal-Mart in Bayou Vista where over $500.00 dollars worth of items were taken and damage was done to a display case. Wells was incarcerated and no bond has been set.
Jeffrey J. Bertrand 51 of Old Spanish Trail Berwick La. and Karin T. Bertrand 51 of the same address were arrested on 11-23-09 at 4:40 P.M. on warrants charging them with Felony Theft over $500.00 dollars and Contractor's Misapplication of Payments. The warrants were issued by The Louisiana Dept of Justice on 11-19-09. They were incarcerated and bond set at $25,000.00 dollars each.
David Linford 39 of Hwy 182 Centerville La. was arrested on 11-23-09 at 7:35 P.M. on warrants charging him with FTA on the charge of speeding and Issuing worthless checks 2 counts. He was processed and released on a $1378.50 bond.
On 11-23-09 at 11:35 P.M. Deputies were called to a Cane field head land area located off La 87 Charenton La.
There the Deputies met the complaint the owner of the property. He advised that he observed several vehicles in his fields without permission. After investigation several arrests were made:
Ray Leedom 19 of Cherokee St. Charenton La.
Henri A. Chauvin 18 of Main St. Baldwin La.
Daniel Sonnier 18 of Magnolia St.Franklin La.
Aaron Simoneaux 18 of Simoneaux Lane Charenton La.
Ronald J. Leblanc 19 of Sterling Rd Franklin La.
Aaron Martin 17 of Circle Dr. Franklin La.
Matthew J. Maus 17 of Clark St. Franklin La.
Justin D. Simon 17 of Second St.Franklin La.
All were charged with Criminal trespassing and released on Summons.
