St. Mary Sheriff arrests Patterson man for alleged intent to distribute

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff's office arrested a Patterson man for alleged drug possession with intent to distribute and drug paraphernalia.

On Friday afternoon at 4:04 p.m., Sheriff Mark Hebert said the Narcotics Division apprehended Ryan Stratton, 18, of Patterson, charging him with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Narcotics detectives conducted a search warrant at a Patterson address and located several plastic bags containing marijuana, a pipe, and a grinder.

During the investigation, Stratton admitted to narcotics detectives that he intended to sell the marijuana. Stratton was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Bond is set at $11,500.
