St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office arrest report 01/14/10

According to Sheriff David Naquin during the last 24 hours the Sheriff's Office responded to 30 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Clarence P. Charatain 50 yoa of 217 Rod Lane, Baldwin was arrested on 1-13-2010 at 7:08 am on a warrant for Issuing Worthless Checks. Suspect was located at his residence, placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 4-7-2010.

Christian V. Eugene 34 yoa of 7503 Hwy 182, Franklin was arrested on 1-13-2010 at 10:28 am on a warrant for Issuing Worthless Checks. Suspect was located at his residence, placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 4-7-2010.

Barry T. Clark 54 yoa of 2228 Hwy 182 E. Apt # 2, Bayou Vista was arrested on 1-13-2010 at 2:52 pm on a warrant for Failure to Appear on the charge of Issuing Worthless Checks. Suspect was at the Morgan City Sheriff's Office paying a citation, when it was learned of a warrant for his arrest. Suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $10,000.00 bond at this time.

Frederick Johnson 26 yoa of 104 Riverview Dr., Patterson was arrested on1-13-2010 at 3:30 pm for Theft. Deputy was called to Wal-mart in Bayou Vista in reference to an employee theft. Upon Deputy's arrival it was learned from store security that above suspect had taken two tires valued at $120.00 and placed them on an unidentified vehicle. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 4-7-2010.
