St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Press Release

According to Sheriff Mark A. Hebert during the last 72 hours the Sheriff's Office responded to 114 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Jarrod M. Bowers 27 yoa of 519 Robertson St., Franklin was arrested on 5-18-2012 at 9:23 am on a warrant for Failure to Appear for Accessory After the Fact. The suspect turned himself into the Sheriff's Office on warrant for his arrest. The suspect was then placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $5000.00 bond, and was later released.

Richard Landry 60 yoa of 1507 Hwy 182 E., Morgan City was arrested on 5-18-2012 at 11:25 am on a warrant for Probation Violation. The suspect was located at his residence, placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.

Carmel Triggs 30 yoa of 506 Tall Timber St., Patterson was arrested on 5-19-2012 at 8:50 am on a warrant for Failure to Appear Criminal Neglect of Family. The suspect was located in the Bayou Vista area, placed under arrest on warrant and booked into the parish jail with a $500.00 bond at this time.

Travis Williams 24 yoa of 720 Gabriel St., Patterson was arrested on 5-20-2012 at 5:58 am for No Insurance and Expired Registration. A deputy was called to Hwy 317 in reference to an accident of a vehicle hitting a deer. During the investigation it was learned that the suspect had no insurance and the car's registration was expired. The suspect was placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 8-17-2012.

Layne Aucoin 18 yoa of 1011 Hwy 662, Morgan City was arrested on 5-20-2012 at 11:12 am on two warrants for Probation Violation. The suspect turned himself into the Morgan City Sheriff's Office after learning of warrants for his arrest. The suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $20,000.00 bond at this time.

Patricia Green 46 yoa of 106 Oak St., Morgan City was arrested on 5-20-2012 at 2:40 pm for Theft by Shoplifting and Entry After Being Forbidden. A deputy was called to Wal-mart in Bayou Vista in reference a shoplifter. Upon the Deputy's arrival store security advised that above suspect was observed concealing $53.70 in merchandise in her purse. During the investigation it was also learned that the suspect had been previously banned from store. The suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $1500.00 bond at this time.

Eliza P. Williams 22 Yoa of 712 Louisiana St., Morgan City was arrested on 5-20-2012 at 6:17 pm on two Warrants for Failure to Appear for Drug Court Status Conference. The suspect turned herself into the Sheriff's Office, was placed under arrest on warrants and booked into the parish jail with a $200,000.00 bond at this time.
