St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Press Release

According to Sheriff Mark A. Hebert during the last 24 hours the Sheriff's Office responded to 30 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Tyler M. Kapp 20 yoa of 112 Billiot Lane #4, Bayou Vista was arrested on 3-7-2012 at 9:08 am on warrants for Failure to Appear on the charge of Drug Paraphernalia and Probation Violation. Suspect was located by Patterson Police Department and turned over to the Sheriff's Office. Suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.

Nata Sedatol 17 yoa of 3270 Chitimacha Trail, Charenton was arrested on 3-7-2012 at 9:27 am on warrants for Simple Burglary and Simple Criminal Damage to Property. Suspect came into the Sheriff's Office in reference to an investigation. Suspect was advised of warrants for his arrest, placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $20,000.00 bond at this time.

Milton Callahan III 36 yoa of 514 Franklin St. # 3, Morgan City was arrested on 3-7-2012 at 1:42 pm on a warrant for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. Suspect was located on Lake Palourde Road in Amelia, placed under arrest on warrant and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.

Frank Singleton Jr. 28 yoa of 123 Friendship Lane, Amelia was arrested on 3-7-2012 at 9:11 pm for Driving Under Suspension. Deputy was patrolling the Amelia area, when he conducted a traffic stop on suspect vehicle for failing to signal. During investigation it was learned that suspect was driving under suspension. Suspect was placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 6-26-2012.

Barlow Toups 36 yoa of 1124 Grace St., Morgan City was arrested on 3-8-2012 at 2:28 am on a warrant for Failure to Appear on the charges of No Boat Registration, Expired Registration and Failure to Change Ownership. Deputy was conducting an investigation at 123 Friendship Lane, Amelia. During investigation it was learned of a warrant for suspect's arrest. Suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $5000.00 bond at this time.
